So it’s Day 2 of 365 on my Picture A Day Weight Loss Journey (#PADweightloss; photo below) and today was…just ok.

I woke up weighing 235 lbs, which is a pound less than yesterday, but…

I overspent my caloric intake budget by 618 calories, which I’d like to make all kinds of excuses for (some of which are actually pretty good!), but that kind of thinking is what kept me stuck in a rut for years, so I’m banning it from use for at least the next 363 days.

On the upside, I found a great app for weight loss goal setting and caloric intake monitoring and was able to order a pedometer online to help me keep track of my steps each day. The app is called MyNetDiary and to be frank, the reason I chose it was because it doesn’t require a login. I really, REALLY didn’t want a bunch of junk emails clogging my inbox and not needing to provide mine to use the app is what gave them the upper hand.

Right now, I’m looking at the app and it shows me that I consumed 62% fat today – no bueno! It also tells me, “Not on target, you could exercise more by 618 calories.”

Ain’t that the truth. Ironically enough, that is the EXACT amount of calories I could cut if I repeated my workout today (still doing the Billy Blanks Boot Camp DVD Workout).

But it’s past midnight now and, although my goal is VERY important to me, I also need to be prioritize what’s really important. I haven’t yet spent time in the Word or in Prayer and that needs to take precedence over cutting 618 calories.

So that’s what I’m off to go do and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me tonight!

Until Next Time My Friends
