It’s day 103 of my picture a day weight loss journey and today hasn’t been a great day.
I have a ton of pressure building up behind my right eye which is compounding a slight vision problem I’ve been fighting for about a year. I can’t see the eye doctor until next week, so I’m just hoping to be able to get some rest today so that I can feel better sooner rather than later.
I gotta confess: I’m in a bit of a slump fitness-wise. I can’t seem to overcome this migraine and get my act together. I’m trying not to make a huge deal out of it, but it really is pretty debilitating. I just want to crawl into a big bed in a sound and light proof room and sleep until tomorrow, or next week.
Have you ever felt that way? I call it “mom tired” – the kind of tired that no amount of sleep can cure because you’ve been tired for as long as you’ve been a mom, which, in my case is 5 years and counting.
Sigh…I will get over this, I know I will. And tomorrow is another opportunity for me to slay my goals.
This is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change, and I CAN do this!
We both can! No matter what hurts or how far behind we’ve fallen, we won’t quit! We’re in this for the long haul and no set back will get in the way of our overall progress!
