It’s day 179 of my picture a day weight loss journey and, Lord have mercy, my back was killing me ALLLLLL day today!
As I’ve been learning to eat better and exercise more faithfully, I’ve been experiencing increased relief from lower back pain, but that all goes out the window once a month. And when those few days roll around I just wanna stay in bed allllllllll day long. It’s never an option, but the temptation is extremely great.
I didn’t work out today and I didn’t even try. I was feeling so weak and tired and broken down. I know that resting with purpose is just as important as pushing myself and that a balance between the two is key.
So today was a rest day, and now it’s over. I get to crawl into bed and do what I’ve been wanting to do allllll day loooongggg: sleep!! And tomorrow I pick up where I left off, exercising and eating as healthy as possible!
