It’s day 194 of my picture a day weight loss journey and today has been a SUPER productive day!
I spent a few hours creating posts to boost awareness of the festivities for my 200th day (next week), did a seriously challenging yoga for weight loss work out, AND made a loaf of ciabatta bread!!
The highlight of my day, however, was when my 5 y/o asked if she could work out with me today. That’s the first time she’s ever done that and it made my heart sing.
Oh, how I LOVE her!!
I want to teach my children how to be healthy from a very early age. I want to figure out what works best for our family and be faithful to show my children the value of healthy eating and exercise as a lifestyle, not a some sort of diet.
The past six months have shown me just how important it is to take my health seriously and I want to do everything I can to instill in my children the importance of these principles so that they can try to avoid my mistakes in their own lives.
If they learn by mimicry, I only want to give them good things to mimic!
