Can I order a product or service not listed on the Taylor of all Trades website?

Absolutely! Taylor of all Trades is happy to create bespoke product and service packages that are completely unique to the client. You can submit the details of your request via e-mail (taylorofalltrades@gmail.com) or by filling out our Request a Quote Form.

Do the prices listed include the cost of the bases?

No, the prices listed, unless otherwise noted, do not include the price of the bases upon which the calligraphy/lettering is applied. It is the client’s responsibility to provide the bases and to get the bases to Taylor of all Trades at their own cost.

What is included in the research fee?

When a client wants a specific base type/style but doesn’t have it in their possession, Taylor of all Trades is happy to research options for the client, order them, and have them shipped for the client. The research process can take anywhere from an hour to multiple hours and, therefore, must be included in the cost of services provided by Taylor of all Trades.

What is included in the design fee?

Each project requires a significant amount of planning, both physical and digital. This planning is only possible as a result of the expertise, experience, and practical knowledge of Taylor of all Trades and can take anywhere from one to multiple hours depending on the project scope. When digital designs and/or mock-ups are provided to the client, multiple edits and updates can be required, all of which are included in the design fee.

How long will it take for Taylor of all Trades to complete my project?

The scope of each project is unique, making it hard to state a blanket project timeline that applies to every client order at all times. However, generally speaking, each project takes a minimum of 14 business days to complete. This does not include shipping/transit time once the project is complete.

Does Taylor of all Trades offer rush services?

Yes! Taylor of all Trades is happy to provide rush services at two different levels:

  1. Project completion within 8 – 14 business days can be provided for an additional $40 fee.
  2. Project completion within 4 – 7 business days can be provided for an additional $80 fee.

Rush orders that need to be completed within 1 – 3 business days are extremely difficult to guarantee, however, Taylor of all Trades will consider orders such as these, depending on scope and material availability. The rush fee for projects requiring a 1 – 3 day turn-around will be calculated at the time of request. To request a rush project with a 1 – 3 day turn around, please e-mail Taylor of all Trades directly at taylorofalltrades@gmail.com and provide as much information about the project as possible. Rush fees are non-refundable and due at contract signing. Rush services exclude shipping/delivery fees and timelines.

How does Taylor of all Trades calculate shipping costs?

The preferred shipping method for Taylor of all Trades is the United States Postal Service (USPS). Taylor of all Trades calculates shipping costs based on USPS weight, dimension, and packaging standards and generally uses Priority shipping due to the standard limits of using First Class Mail to ship orders.

Does Taylor of all Trades offer rush shipping options?

Yes! Taylor of all Trades is happy to utilize USPS rush shipping options at the client’s expense, Monday thru Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm. Taylor of all Trades will consider utilizing UPS and FedEx rush shipping options for an additional fee, at the client’s expense. Taylor of all Trades is also happy to offer custom currier services, based on location and required delivery date. Custom currier service fees are calculated on a per-project bases and at the client’s expense. Custom currier fees are non-refundable and due at contract signing.

Does Taylor of all Trades offer special occasion workshops?

Yes! Taylor of all Trades is pleased to offer custom workshop packages for special occasion. To submit a special occasion workshop request, submit a Book Live Lettering form or e-mail Taylor of all Trades at taylorofalltrades@gmail.com.

Does Taylor of all Trades have a project portfolio I can view?

Yes! Taylor of all Trades is happy to provide portfolio images both on the website and on the Taylor of all Trades Instagram feed.

What types of payment does Taylor of all Trades accept?

Taylor of all Trades uses an invoicing system that partners with PayPal for immediate payment processing. Taylor of all Trades is also happy to accept payments via Venmo, Etsy Payments, and Google Pay. If you would like to submit payment via Venmo, Etsy Payments, or Google Pay, please contact Taylor of all Trades via e-mail at taylorofalltrades@gmail.com. Cash payments are accepted at tradeshows only. Taylor of all Trades is unable to accept personal checks as a form of payment at this time.

Can I order Taylor of all Trades products for my child through my charter school?

Yes! Taylor of all Trades is already a vendor with Inspire, iLead, and Sky Mountain charter schools. If you would like for Taylor of all Trades to apply to be a vendor with your charter school, please e-mail Sophie Taylor at taylorofalltrades@gmail.com to get the process started.
